Training

Our ability to respond and recover from natural disasters, major accidents or acts of terrorism is directly proportional to our level of training. Training programs offered by Region 5/6 are based upon current standards and DHS grant performance requirements.

Bill Pook is also available to design and facilitate functional or tabletop exercises. Classes are modified to meet the specific needs of the class and jurisdiction. Video and inter-active computer and PowerPoint projections are used and class handouts are made available. All hands-on equipment is provided.

Certain classes have minimum time requirements along with written/performance testing to meet certification standards.
